Treatments
Electrolysis treatments is the permanent hair removal from the human body using a fine brand new disposable needle to apply a measured amount of electricity to the base of the hair follicle, causing destruction of the follicles.
Unwanted hair is a problem that can cause embarrassment or totally alter the way in which you feel about yourself and conduct your everyday life.
Type of probe
Another factor is the type of probe you use. Gold, stainless steel or insulated. Also, the right size probe in proportion with the area being worked on.
It is very important not to ever pull the hair out by the root such as tweezing, waxing, treading, this will cause the hair to multiply and come back more coarse. It is much better to cut or shave in between visits to your electrologist.
Important electrolysis information and home-care instructions
- Make sure your electrologist is board certified. (CPE)
- Make sure your electrologist is using a brand new disposable needle each time you come in and that the old one is thrown out into the red sharps box at the end of each session.
- Make sure all tweezers and other instruments used are sterilized before and after each use.
